Who Loves Us

Okay wow, where do I even start with Rie and her amazing team! Rie made being a Covid/California wildfire season bride so much easier. We hired Unali for day of coordination for our October wedding. Prior to the big day, Rie was accessible, made recommendations (our wedding was a destination and we were not local), and was happy to answer all of my emails. She spent a few zoom calls really getting to know us as a couple and to understand our vision for our wedding day. Rie really went above and beyond to create a seamless and realistic timeline that matched our vision (and made sure we had enough time for the things that were important to us) and to pre-communicate with our vendors. All we had to do was show up for our wedding ready to have a great time! Rie also had some great decoration visions and ideas which was awesome, as that is not really an area I excel in.

The actual wedding day went sooo smooth (and if there were any hiccups, I literally had no idea). I could not be happier as a bride! Rie and Dani oversaw the venue set-up and made sure everything was just as I wanted and helped keep the timeline on track. Throughout the entire process, Rie had great communication and I really do appreciate the communication and coordination that happened with all of my vendors. I don’t think I was asked one decision question on the day of, the Unali team made the day stress free. Right after the ceremony, they also handed myself and the groom our favorite beverage, which was such a nice touch. The day was truly magical! I should also mention that Rie kept me sane (and realistic) when a wildfire started the week before my wedding, threatening evacuations and air quality issues….luckily we were able to move forwards as planned but Rie also helped come up with a few back-up options if needed. You will not be disappointed if you hire Unali to coordinate/plan your event or wedding!

Wonderful Experience

Rie, Unali Events owner and planner, was absolutely amazing. She listened to our vision from the very beginning and then helped us bring it to life for our special day. She is thoughtful, honest, smart, well organized and extremely talented at what she does. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone with experience and talent. She made our day effortless even with the current COVID 19 pandemic going on. Thank you Rie for helping to make our day one of the best days of our lives.

Rie is exceptional. She’s organized, punctual and calm through every storm! My sisters wedding had to be rearranged last minute due to a completely unexpected downpour and throughout the upset and heartache Rie kept everyone positive and focused on the task at hand. The outcome was not only a beautifully orchestrated (now indoor) wedding it went completely unnoticed to the guests and became a cozy and wonderful night for all!!

Rie and her team are amazing! They know how to take your dreams and make them come true. We were married in Cabo San Lucas, and while I had planned most of the wedding myself – we ran into a major hiccup – my grandma hurt her leg the week before and we had to find a new location last minute. Rie was able to not only keep us calm while looking- but worked out a wonderful deal with the new venue and it was even more breathtaking then I had imagined.

Rie was our planner when we eloped last year and she was AMAZING. Not only was our day beyond special, Rie helped us highlight moments and memories that would’ve have been lost without her detailed eye and ability to listen to what we said wanted from our day (and then translated to reality).

We hired Rie for our wedding in May. It was definitely one of the best decisions we made. She listened to what we wanted. When it came to the big day, she was on it. Rie and creating extraordinary events truly made our wedding day happen and go smoothly! From the first meeting to the final check on details we felt supported all the way. Rie even walked through our venue with us and had so much knowledge to share on what types of measurements we’d need and what rentals to start gathering. She took all our decorations and set it up perfectly for us as we got to relax and get ready for the big day! She helped our rehearsal go perfectly and helped the ceremony go off without a hitch. She truly made it so that we could just enjoy our day. Without her effortless coordination, we would not have been able to be as present on our huge day! We recommend her wholeheartedly!

Rie was our day of coordinator and we couldn’t have done it without her! She kept us on track, on time, and allowed all of us to really enjoy our selves, because we knew she had it all under control. She is truly amazing!

My husband and I were so fortunate to have Rie help us with planning our wedding last year. She is so creative, has the most amazing way of staying organized, and is so resourceful when figuring out multiple options or ways to do something. She helped us stay within our budget and we felt like we ended up having the most beautiful, unique, and memorable day. She wears many hats and is extremely reliable.
